By entering you understand that you are providing your information to Sponsor and not to Facebook or Instagram and may be contacted for prize fulfillment. Information will not be shared or sold.
ELIGIBILITY: Vetoquinol’s #ZylkeneDifference Photo Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, Canada (void in Quebec), who are age 18 or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of the Sponsor, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, electronic media firm, RLA Collective (“Giveaway Administrator”), the immediate families of such employees (employees’ parents, siblings, children and spouses) and members of the same household of such employees, and anyone involved in the production, development or handling of this Giveaway are not eligible. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. By entering you agree that you are 18 years of age or older, an eligible US or Canada resident (void in Quebec) and you are giving the Sponsor permission to contact you should you be randomly selected.
HOW TO ENTER: Submit entry, including eligible photo and briref story, as instructed per the entry form via the Votigo Application (“Giveaway Website”). Entry period begins October 18, 2016, at 12 p.m. ET and ends November 18, 2016, at 12 p.m. ET.
One entry per person per entry period. Tampering and/or multiple registrations from the same entrant during one entry period may result in ineligibility to receive a prize. Administrator’s computer is the official time-keeping device for Giveaway. All entry periods are in Eastern Time unless otherwise noted. Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete or incorrect mailing addresses or invalid entries. All entry information collected becomes the sole property of the Sponsor and will not be shared or sold.
PHOTO CRITERIA/ELIGIBILITY:
- Photos must represent the horse referenced in the corresponding story submission and include only the horse or the horse with entrant. Due to privacy regulations, photos that include people other than the entrant will not be eligible.
- The entrant in the photo should be featured without any identifiable brand logos or signage
- Photo submitted must be a picture the entrant ows the full rights to; no professional or watermarked photography will be accepted.
- Photos cannot contain any nudity or content considered obscene/explicit in either the visual or text.
STORY CRITERIA/ELIGIBILITY:
- In approximately 100 words or less, entrant should summarzie how the horse featured in the corresponding photo submission has made a difference in their personal or professional life.
- Include #ZylkeneDifference in the story submission.
While winners will be randomly selected, those images or stories that do not meet the overarching equine/difference theme will not be considered eligible, hence they will be disqualified. If your photo and/or story is disqualified, you can re-enter with a more appropriate entry. Entries that are accepted should appear on the entry site within 24 hours during regular business days or 48 hours if entered on a weekend.
Submissions that do not meet these and other criteria will not be accepted into the sweepstakes and entrants of non-eligible/disqualified submissions will not be notified that their entry did not meet the criteria (entrants should check to see if their submission posts to the sweepstakes entry site within 48 hours of entry). The Sponsor and Administrator reserve the right to alter pictures and edit text, and to remove or reject any submissions at any time for any reason.
If selected as the Grand Prize winner, upon Sweepstakes Administrator’s request, the entrant may be asked, upon the administrator’s discretion, to prove ownership of entry photograph by providing to the Administrator two (2) additional images of the subject depicted in the entry photograph within two (2) business days of request. Administrator will contact winners via email and Facebook message to the user handle/profile used to enter the giveaway and with an announcement on the Barn Chats by Vetoquinol Facebook page (www.facebook.com/barnchats). If winner does not comply with outlined parameters, their entry will be considered ineligible and a new random winner will be selected from all eligible entries.
PRIZES (21 winners):
- One (1) Grand Prize Winner: $1,000 gift card to an equestrian lifestyle/fashion retailer (options will be offered to winner based on their preferred riding style) and a box of Zylkene Eqine ($1,150 value) -- the grand prize winner will be selected from all eligible entries randomly as the first selection;
- Twenty (20) Runner-Up Winners: Each receive a supply of Zylkene Equine product ($150 value) -- the runner up winners will be selected from all eligible entries randomly as the #2 thorugh #21 selections.
Any expenses not mentioned above are the winner’s responsibility. If applicable, taxes are the winner’s responsibility. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. No substitution for prize except as may be necessary due to unavailability, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.
WINNERS: All winners will be announced on November 18, 2016 at the end of the sweepstakes -- at approximately 2 p.m. ET. Winners will be notified via email to the address provided on the official entry form, by announcement on the Barn Chats by Vetoquinol Equine Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/BarnChats/) and by having the prize mailed to the address provided (no PO boxes accepted) on the official entry form. No other notification will be provided. If this address is in an area where this Giveaway was void by law or outside of the United States, this winner will be considered ineligible and a new winner will be randomly selected for that Giveaway prize. Winners can expect to receive their prize within four (4) weeks following the prize announcement or sooner at Administrator’s discretion.
Winners will be randomly determined by the Giveaway administrator, RLA Collective, whose decisions regarding this Giveaway are final. Limit of one prize package per household per entry period. Any prize returned as undeliverable will be awarded to an alternate winner (by random selection). Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize shall constitute and signify the winner’s consent that the Sponsor may use the winner’s name, address (city and state only), and likeness and any written statements made by the winner about the Giveaway and Sponsor for promotional purposes, in all forms of media, including online on Facebook, Twitter, etc., in perpetuity and without monetary payment or additional consideration.
GENERAL TERMS: Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Participants in this Giveaway, hereby waive, release, and agree to hold harmless Facebook and the Giveaway Sponsor, its parent company, its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, RLA Collective, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents, from and against, any and all rights, claims and causes of action whatsoever that they may have, or which may arise, against any of them for any liability for any matter, cause of thing whatsoever, including but not limited to any injury, loss, damage, whether direct, compensatory, incidental or consequential, to person, including death and property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from their acceptance, possession, use or misuse of, or inability to use a prize in the Giveaway, or their participation in the Giveaway, or their participation in any Giveaway or prize related activity. Participants acknowledge that the Sponsor and other released entities and individuals have neither made, nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition, or fitness, except for any standard limited warranty offered by any manufacturer of the non-cash prize.
All photos and stories become the property of the Sponsor and can be used, in perpetuity, on the Sponsor's social channels, website and marketing collateral without compensation to the entrants.
INTERNET: Sponsor and its agents are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete or illegible entries or Internet technical, hardware, software, telephone, or transmission failures of any kind, which may limit a person’s ability to enter the Giveaway. Sponsor and its agents are not responsible for any injury or damage to entrants’ or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from entering or downloading any materials in the Giveaway. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or suspend advertising the Giveaway on the Internet should a computer virus, unauthorized intervention or other cause corrupt the integrity or proper conduct of the Giveaway. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found to be disrupting the operation of the Giveaway or Giveaway Website. If the integrity of the Internet portion of the Giveaway is compromised in any manner, Sponsor reserves the right to modify Giveaway and randomly select winners from valid entries received that are unaffected by the problem. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of any online entrant, entrant will be deemed the individual named on the online entry. All issues and questions concerning these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Giveaway, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of New York, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of New York or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than New York. WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE SPONSOR OR SPONSOR’S WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GIVEAWAY MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH PARTICIPANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
APPLICABLE LAWS AND JURISDICTION: With respect to any dispute regarding the Giveaway, your rights and obligations and actions shall be governed by the laws of New York, as if the rules were a contract wholly entered into and wholly performed within New York. Any dispute relating in any way to your participation in the Giveaway shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in New York. Arbitration under this agreement shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrator's award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Agreement shall be joined to or consolidated with an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.
