Your submission can be anything from a drawing, painting, sculpture, digital illustration or even a real egg!

A grand prize winner and two runner up winners will be chosen from the 10 designs with the most votes. The contest ends on 12pm EST Monday, March 25, 2013. Winners will be announced on Tuesday March 26. Winners will be notified by email.

DYLAN’S CANDY BAR Easter Contest (the “Contest”) OFFICIAL RULES. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. THE CONTEST IS OPEN TO ALL LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO ARE THIRTEEN (13) YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER, provided that persons deemed minors in the jurisdiction in which they reside (a “Minor”) must obtain the Consent (as defined herein) of their parent or legal guardian to enter the Contest. Three randomly selected winners will be announced on March 25, 2013 (“Drawing Date”). Entries must be submitted between 9am EST on March 11, 2013 and 12pm EST on March 25, 2013 (the “Submission Period”). Sponsored by Dylan’s CandyBar, LLC (“Dylan’s”).
ELIGIBILITY: THE CONTEST IS OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, WHO ARE THIRTEEN (13) YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER, provided that Minors must obtain Consent to enter the Contest. For entrants who are Minors, in order to be eligible to enter the Contest you must obtain consent from your parent or legal guardian and such parent, or legal guardian must email Dylan’s at contests@dylanscandybar.com to provide such consent shortly after any submission by a Minor has been made (a “Consent”). Employees of Dylan’s, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family (parent, child, sibling and spouse) and household members (whether or not related) of such employees are not eligible to enter or win.
HOW TO ENTER: No purchase is necessary. To enter the Contest, entrants must follow the directions set forth below (which can also be found online at www.dylanscandybar.com/eggy). All personal information provided by any entrant will be subject to Dylan’s privacy policy posted at http://www.dylanscandybar.com/privacy-policy. Entrants who are Minors must obtain a Release in order for their entry to be valid and entered into the Contest. Limit of five (5) entries per entrant shall be permitted during the Submission Period. Entries in excess of this limit shall be disqualified and be deemed null and void. In the event of a dispute, any entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the Authorized Account Holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry, provided that person meets all eligibility requirements set forth in these Official Rules. "Authorized Account Holder" means the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Entrants may not enter with multiple e-mail addresses. Any entrant who attempts to enter the contest with multiple e-mail addresses or under multiple identities, will be disqualified from participation in the Contest and all entries submitted by that entrant will be deemed null and void. All entries become the property of Dylan’s and will not be returned. Dylan’s is not responsible for lost, late, stolen, misdirected, illegible, or incomplete entries. Dylan’s is not responsible for any change of email address, mailing address and/or telephone number of entrants.
By entering the Contest, entrants grant Dylan’s the non-exclusive, royalty-free, and irrevocable rights to use, reproduce, copy, publish, display, distribute, perform, translate, adapt, modify, and otherwise exploit the Photo and to incorporate the Photo in other works in any and all markets and media worldwide in perpetuity without additional compensation, notification, permission or approval. Entrants warrant that they have the sole and exclusive right to grant such rights to Dylan’s and that the Dylan’s reproduction, publishing, displaying, and/or other use of the Photo will not infringe on any rights of third parties, including, without limitation, copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity, or create claims for defamation, false light, idea misappropriation, intentional or negligent infliction of emotional distress, or breach of contract. If any Photo contains material that is violent, pornographic, obscene, illegal, inappropriate, or racially or morally offensive or if any Photo does not comply with these Official Rules or meet Dylan’s standards for any reason, as determined by Dylan’s in its sole discretion, such Photo (and the related Entry) may be rejected as ineligible for consideration and/or deleted as an entry into the Contest.
PRIZES: The prizes that will be given out on or after the Drawing Date shall be: (1) Grand Prize: One [Benjamin Bunny's Missing Pants Basket], One [Dylan’s Candy Bar Glitter Egg], and One [Dylan’s Candy Bar Paint Can filled with Sour Gummy Eggs] (aggregate approximate retail value of Grand Prize is $90); (2) Second Place Prize: One [Dylan's Candy Bar Eggies Lollipops- set of four], One [Dylan's Candy Bar Spring Caddy], One [Dylan's Candy Bar Easter Popcorn] (aggregate approximate retail value of Second Prize is $50); and (3) Third Place Prize: One [Dylan's Candy Bar Easter Tackle Box] (aggregate approximate retail value of Third Prize is $25)(all prizes subject to availability and substitution by Dylan’s). All prizes to be delivered to the Prize Winner or the parent/legal guardians of Prize Winner(s) by regular mail. Dylan’s is not responsible for prizes lost or damaged in the mail. If a Contest winner is a Minor, prior to claiming any prizes, such Minor will need to have his or her parent or guardian sign a release on behalf of the Minor to be eligible to claim such prizes (a “Release”). Dylan’s reserves the right to refuse to award a prize to or on behalf of a Minor, if such Release is not given. ENTRANTS ARE ELIGIBLE TO ONLY WIN ONE PRIZE.
Entrants who have been selected as winners (“Potential Winners”) shall be notified by e-mail by Dylan’s. Potential Winners will be given five (5) business days from the time Dylan’s sends an e-mail notice to respond and claim a prize. If Dylan’s is unable to contact a potential winner or if a potential winner does not respond within five (5) business days, prize will be forfeited and another potential winner will be selected at random. If Potential Winner is a Minor, such Potential Winner's parent/legal guardian will receive a separate email informing him/her that his/her child has been selected as a potential prize winner of the Contest and that if the parent/legal guardian accepts the prize, he/she should provide a mailing address for the prize. Parent/legal guardian of potential winner will be given five (5) business days from the time Dylan’s sends an e-mail notice to respond and claim a prize. If Dylan’s is unable to contact parent/legal guardian of winner or if parent/legal guardian of winner does not respond within five (5) business days, prize will be forfeited and another potential winner will be selected at random.
Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable or determination, in its sole and absolute discretion, by Dylan’s that the Potential Winner is ineligible will result in disqualification. No cash equivalents, substitutions or transfer of prize permitted except that Dylan’s reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value in the event that an offered prize is unavailable. Acceptance of prize by parent/legal guardian of Potential Winner constitutes permission to Dylan’s and its agencies to use Potential Winner's name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation unless prohibited by Dylan's privacy policy or by law. By accepting his/her prize, winner (and his/her parent or legal guardian) agrees to hold harmless Dylan’s and its respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, shareholders, advertising and promotion agencies, third-party vendors and assigns (collectively the "Releasees") against any and all claims and liability arising out of use of prize. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Releasees are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Contest or in the announcement of any prizes.
Releasees are not responsible or liable for entries that are entered by other than human means (such as by an automated computer program or any non-human mechanism, entity, or device), in excess of the stated limit, or for entries that are lost, late, mutilated, illegible, forged, misplaced, stolen, misdirected, destroyed, tampered with, incomplete, deleted, damaged or for entries otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules, and all such entries will be disqualified. If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Dylan’s which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this game, the Dylan’s reserves the right at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the electronic portion of the Contest and to award all prizes from among all eligible entries received prior to (or after, if applicable) action taken by Dylan’s.
FAILURE OF OPERATION: If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Dylan’s which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest, Dylan’s reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Dylan’s reserves the right to seek damages from any such participant to the fullest extent of the law. CAUTION: Dylan’s reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest (including, but not limited to, the use of automated computer programs or any non-human mechanism, entity, or device), the web site, web portal, mobile application or any Web page or Web banner ad related to the Contest; to be acting in violation of the Official Rules, or to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with the Contest will be ineligible to win the Prize and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
