#HAINANWOOD video contest

1.      To enter the Hainan Airlines “#HAINANWOOD” contest, you must:

a.      Reside in the following countries (areas) : USA, Canada, Germany, France, Belgium, Russia, Taiwan, United Kingdom, Italy, Israel, Czech Republic, Thailand; 

b.      Be 18 years old or older at the time of entry. Entrants (“fans” or “participants”) who do not satisfy these requirements are not permitted to participate.

2.      Entrants who win but are found not to meet the minimum requirements through entering falsified information will be disqualified and their prizes forfeited.

3.      The #HAINANWOOD Contest is not open to employees (or members of their immediate families), suppliers, and business partners of Hainan Airlines.

4.      There will be a total of one winner.

5.      One prize for the Hainan Airlines #HAINANWOOD contest is defined as a one international round trip nonstop economy class flight tickets to or from any of Hainan Airlines international direct flight destinations (Prague, Manchester, Tel-Aviv, Calgary, Brussels, Berlin, Chicago, San Jose, Los Angeles, Seattle, Boston, Toronto, Taipei, Phuket, Paris, Rome, Moscow, St Petersburg) and China and 3 nights at the Regent hotel in Beijing offered by My Odyssey tours.

a.     Flight ticket details: No purchase necessary. Taxes and surcharges may apply to the international airfare, which the winning entrant will be liable to pay. Hainan Airlines will only provide airfares without charge; no other costs will be borne by Hainan Airlines.

b.     Nights in hotel details:

                                      i.              Free three-night stay in a premium room (maximum occupancy of two adults) at Regent Beijing Hotel, No.99  Jinbao Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing, China. Breakfast  is included in the stay.

                                    ii.              The prize is exclusive of any additional costs that not  mentioned in above contents. (such as personal spending,  tips, and any other costs incurred during the hotel stay)

                                  iii.              The prize is sponsored by @MyOdysseyTours and the hotel reservation will be made through My Odyssey Tours.

                                  iv.              The prize is subject to availability and blackout dates    may apply. Note: If any of the above conditions apply, My Odyssey Tours reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative hotel stay of equal value, at My Odyssey Tours discretion.

                                    v.              The winner must check in the hotel before June 13rd, 2017 and the reservation of final hotel should be confirmed with My Odyssey Tours at least 30 days prior to arrival.

6.      The winner must flight before December 31st, 2016 and use the 3 nights in the Regent Hotel before June 2017.

7.       The prize is not transferable to another person.

8.      The prize is not exchangeable for cash or any other prize(s). 

9.      The prize is not permit to use with Hainan Airlines ADD ON products and SPA what offered by other airline. 

10. The prize is not permit to use with other HNA preferential products. 

11. The winner will be selected by:

a.      Being among the top 10 most voted entries

b.      Being selected from those top 10 by a jury pre-determined by Hainan Airlines; that jury will select the winner’s entry that:

                                                              i.      Submit videos/images that are good quality

                                                            ii.      Submit ideas that are fun, creative and in the spirit of the contest

                                                          iii.      Submit entries that may have a good quality caption

                                                          iv.      Submit entries that may prove more valuable to Hainan Airlines in terms of being able to republish

12. Judges will favour great video entries.

13. Only one entry per person.

14. A maximum of three users or three contest entries may originate from one Internet Protocol (IP) address, in the event that more than three users or three contest entries are found to originate from one IP address, all users originating from that IP address will be banned and their respective contest entries forfeited.

15. Video or Photo submissions must be original.

16. Videos or Images that are suspected of copyright infringements may be blocked.

17. Videos or Photos submitted are provided to Hainan Airlines and Hainan Airlines is given the absolute right to use them in any way or format they choose.

18. Videos or Images submitted that are outside the spirit of the contest will not be approved.

19. All videos or images mages will go through an approval process that may take up to 20 hours, but will ideally be approved within 1 hour.

20. Fans (including their travel companion) who have won airfares prizes from Hainan Airlines are not eligible to win again until 12 months have passed.

21. Hainan Airlines will endeavor to send prizes within a month of the competition end date but cannot guarantee this delivery time.

22. The event will run from 12:00PM, April 2nd, 2016 –12:00PM, May 14th, 2016 (+8GMT Beijing Time), for a total of 6 weeks.

23. The winner will be announced publically on Hainan Airlines’ Facebook global fan page.

24. Once we have notified, you have five days to reply to claim your prize. If you do not respond within 5 days of being notified, you will forfeit your prize and Hainan Airlines reserves the right to choose another winner. The judges’ decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered in to.

25. By entering the competition, the winner agrees to participate in such promotional activity and material as Hainan Airlines may require. This may include, but is not limited to, photography and video footage of the winner and friend while traveling with winning tickets.

26. Hainan Airlines cannot guarantee that your preferred flight date is available, in such instances, Hainan Airlines has the right to offer you alternative flight dates.

27. Incorrectly completed or incomplete entries will be disqualified.

28. Hainan Airlines reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. If Hainan Airlines does amend the contest rules, Hainan Airlines will publish the amended competition rules and/or specific competition rules on the relevant competition page.

29. If the competition or promotion is run on Facebook, then it is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. By participating you hereby release and hold harmless Facebook from any and all liability associated with this promotion.
