The McDougall Community contest is open to the public. The contest has a geographic focus in Ontario and the communities that surround our 80 branch office locations.

The McDougall Community contest is aimed at helping improve our local communities. All submissions need to be community-minded.

The organization submitting the video application is not required to have a registered charitable number.

All video submissions must be valid for any age audience. Any plagiarism, inappropriate behaviour and/or language will result in immediate elimination from the contest. All video submissions will be approved before they are entered into the contest for public viewing. Please ensure all contest requirements are met to avoid elimination.

The maximum length of each video submission is two minutes (120 Seconds). There is a limit of one submission per organization/group.

During the public voting round, there will be a limit of one vote per person, per day. Evidence of fraudulent voting will result in the immediate elimination of the community group in the final round.

The monetary prizes will be awarded to the top 3 community projects at the conclusion of the public voting round in the form of a cheque.
