Neighbours Helping Neighbours
Project of Shalom Small Homes Kemptville. We are working to build affordable homes for struggling seniors, through community involvement. Many local seniors cannot afford the current market rental costs in Kemptville and area. They pay rent of approximately 30 - 35% of their income and we arrange a longterm residential lease. We are currently raising funds toward our next build by hosting a Bike and Walkathon on June 13th with a community barbecue. We are also working on a "Million Toonie Challenge." When we build, we work extensively with local businesses and use volunteers wherever possible. Shalom Small Homes Kemptville is dedicated to making a real difference to some of the needy seniors in our own community. Thank you for your consideration.
