Wave goodbye to summer skies

First I would like to say, in its original form this photo was taken in a raw image file format and this photo that you are viewing is a compressed re-sized jpeg format image. So there is a loss of quality and resolution to the image that you are viewing. I remember taken this shot so well. This wave doubled up and got through to me with no one able to get into it, I remember how it stood tall right where I was at. With the beautiful sky and a steep face and me being close to the lip I knew that I had to shoot it vertically. click! I was trilled when I pulled it up on the comp. Being right handed, for me It's hard to get a good vertical shot of a left, especially when swimming with a dual camera rig that weighs around 10lbs.
