This contest, which is in its second year, encourages college students to pursue careers in the automotive industry. New for 2014, the contest will invite students who participate in the SAE Collegiate Design Series™ (CDS) in the Formula SAE® Michigan, Formula SAE® Lincoln/Electric, SAE Supermileage Competition®, Baja SAE® Illinois, Baja SAE® UTEP, and Baja SAE® Kansas competitions. CDS teams are invited to create and submit videos no more than two minutes in length highlighting the diverse aspects of the automotive industry that make it an attractive or “cool” industry to work in. Cash prizes will be awarded to the SAE CDS teams with the top three videos. The 2014 contest is CLOSED to new entries as of 10/11/14 but voting will continue until 10/17/14.

To be designated toward the upcoming CDS competition - Grand Prize: $4,000, second prize $3,000, and third prize $1,000. Prizes will be awarded to the CDS teams with the top three videos.
