*One member of your group must be a current student or recent alum (graduated within past 3 years) of Cal (UC Berkeley)
*All musical genres are welcome
*This contest is specifically for bands. If your music group includes a drummer, or you have 4+ members, you are eligible to enter the contest.
**If you are a soloist, duo, trio, without a drummer, you can enter for a two-song slot at calspringspotlight@gmail.com. These entries will be selected by a separate Ashkenaz committee
*You must be available to perform May 9, 2013 at Ashkenaz.
*Your music should be all-ages appropriate.
*You must have enough music to fill the winning slots. Winners will receive a 30 minute slot, and one runner up will get a 20 minute slot.

To Enter:

*Register your band via our Facebook page or microsite
*Registration begins April 18th and continues until voting ends on May 2nd.

To Win:

* Register via our facebook page or microsite, and upload your music video.
* Audio submissions are also accepted. If you choose this option, please also include album artwork, or a photo that best represents your band.
*Once you are registered and have uploaded a video, share our Facebook page or microsite with all of your friends and tell them to vote for you! The group with the most votes will win the grand prize.
