The WME Video Awards for the Why I Love to Ski and Snowboard Contest acknowledge and celebrate the discovery of skiing or snowboarding. The experience tends to change people’s lives – because they acquire new skills and enter a world that they had not previously known.

Skiers and snowboarders are invited to submit a video or videos that convey the joy and exhilaration realized by an individual or individuals new to skiing or snowboarding. Videos should be positive and they should visualize the personal excitement realized by the experience. They should be motivational in a way that encourages others to want to learn how to ski or snowboard.

Individuals, not companies, may submit entries. Individuals should be amateur videographers and not those who produce videos for payment.

Entries must be submitted during that timeframe. The timeframe includes Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month and a portion of the Bring a Friend campaign.

Entries can focus on children, friends or family members.
Videos can include music, voice-overs and/or text.
Videos may include a reference to LSSM/Bring a Friend
More than one video can be submitted.

Videos must be uploaded to the following URL to qualify for the WME Video Awards.

Only PG rated videos will qualify. Any profanity or lewd gestures will disqualify the video.
