Deadline to enter and vote: Sunday, May 31 (11 p.m.)
Winners announced on Facebook: Friday, June 5 (11 a.m.)
Entrants must be United States residents and 18 years or older.
Any photos submitted must have been taken by person entering the contest.
By entering the contest, the photographer grants permission to have Samy's Camera feature the photo on their website and social media sites in order to promote their contests and photo school.
Retouching is permitted but no major edits or alterations are permitted. For example, contrast, color and exposure can be altered in post-production. But no subject objects can be removed or added to the photo -- any edits of this kind will ensure your photo will be disqualified from the contest.
Watermarking is permitted if subtle.
Two prizes will be selected by a team of Samy's Camera judges and a third prize by public vote on Facebook. Entrants who use a pay-for-votes service will be disqualified. Promising goods or services in exchange for votes also serves as grounds for disqualification.
Samy's Camera has the right to remove any photo from the contest, for reasons including but not limited to, if the entry is deemed obscene, infringing on some else's artistic property, not consistent with the theme or if the photo is substantially pixelated.
