Rules
DESCRIPTION:
The Outlaws of Dirt Photo Contest will begin on AUGUST 23, 2013. The public will choose the finalists by submitting their votes through SEPTEMBER 4, 2013. A jury of specialists from Mikes Camera will choose the final winners and announce them on SEPTEMBER 5, 2013. This promotion will be conducted exclusively online.
WINNING CATEGORIES
One (1) Grand Prize winner will be awarded a Sony HDR-AS15 HD Action Camcorder and a 16x20 print of the winning image.
One (1) Second Prize winner will be awarded a $50 Mike’s Camera Gift Card and a 16x20-inch print of the winning image.
One (1) Third Prize winner will be awarded a 16x20-inch print of the winning image.
HOW TO ENTER:
Legal residents of the U.S. who are eighteen (18) years of age or older will be able to take part in this Contest.
1. Entrants may submit up to 3 images to the contest site.
ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS:
1. The drawing is open only to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time
of contest registration, unless otherwise specified.
2. Entries must be taken during the Outlaws of Dirt event in Frisco, CO AUGUST 23 - AUGUST 25, 2013.
3. Only one entrant will be eligible per winning category
4. Employees of Mike’s Camera, Inc, its officers, directors, subsidiaries, affiliates, general sponsors,
promotional partners, their respective subsidiaries & affiliates are NOT eligible to participate or win in this
contest.
5. Persons who have won a prize in another contest or promotion of any kind from Mike’s Camera, Inc
within the ninety-day (90) period immediately preceding the start date of this drawing are not eligible
to participate.
6. Participants agree to abide with any applicable federal, state, local laws and regulations.
PRIZE:
1. If a winner is unable to accept the prize, the prize will be forfeited in its entirety.
2. The prizes consists of the following:
Grand Prize - A Sony HDR-AS15 HD Action Camcorder and a 16x20 print of the winning image.
Second Prize - A $50 Mike’s Camera Gift Card and a 16x20-inch print of the winning image.
Third Prize - A 16x20-inch print of the winning image.
3. No cash or other prize substitution is permitted.
4. Prizes will be awarded only upon winner verification and final approval by Mike’s Camera, Inc. The winner
will be notified by email, Facebook message, mail and/or phone within thirty (30) days after being selected.
The winner or selected entrant will then have thirty (30) days to respond Mike’s Camera to coordinate the
pickup of their prize. If a winner or selected entrant is unable to be contacted within thirty (30) days after
being selected or is ineligible, the prize will be forfeited.
5. Winners will be instructed to call or e-mail Mike’s Camera at (303) 443-1715 ex 134 or
marketing@mikescamera.com to claim their prize.
6. PRIZE REDEMPTION: Winner must pick up prize by SEPTEMBER 30th, 2013 at one of Mike’s Camera store
locations in Colorado.
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
1. No purchase necessary. Promotion is void where prohibited. Drawing is subject to all applicable federal,
state, local laws and regulations.
2. By entering into the Outlaws of Dirt Photo Contest entrants agree to receive future promotional materials from
Mike's Camera.
3. Mike’s Camera Inc retains the right to disqualify any entrant if all promotion rules are not followed.
4. By accepting the prize, the winner acknowledges that Mike’s Camera Inc have neither made, nor are in
any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact
or in law, relative to the prize or to any portion thereof.
5. Any information collected by registering to enter the contest shall be used only in a manner consistent
with these Official Drawing Rules.
6. If for any reason, the promotion is not capable of running as planned, including without limitation,
any suspected evidence of tampering or technological corruption or if any portion of the contest is
compromised by virus, bugs, worms or unauthorized human intervention, fraud, acts of God, strikes,
terrorists acts, criminal acts of third parties, an insufficient number of qualified entries, or any other
causes beyond Mike’s Camera Inc’s control which, in Mike’s Camera Inc’s sole opinion, corrupts,
threatens or impairs the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the promotion,
Mike’s Camera Inc reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes at
their sole discretion.
All entrants agree that their name and images may be displayed and used in the Outlaws of Dirt photo contest marketing and promotion without charge or copyright infringement, and that the images they upload are acceptable for public view. Mike's Camera, Inc will not share any personal information of entrants with third party organizations.
