Student MBA App Development-Lemon Smash

The attached video shows the development of an APP devised by K-6 public school students teaching the basics in financial literacy. The curriculum was developed by the 501c3 nonprofit, Partnership for Innovation in Education (www.piemedia.org) in cooperation with Harvard Business School, Northern Kentucky University, University of Cincinnati and Sprint-Nextel. All proceeds from the app directly benefit Kilgour Elementary, creating a new revenue source that teaches tech literacy, career readiness, critical thinking & leadership skills. We plan to launch at three more public elementary and middle schools (99% school lunch, disadvantaged) with the teacher support of the Cincinnati Public School District, Winton Woods District and Princeton School District, in tandem with the support of our partners. We are launching a "first-ever" app development and small business, student -run incubator program with NKU. To be successful, we need further funding for teaching materials, technology hardware, and marketing materials enabling each school to fully benefit from the app's deployment and new revenue potential.
