New Mother
I was in the Air Force. I was getting qualified as an Photo tech for Military intelligence at Seventh Air Force head quarters outside Saigon.in Vietnam. I had been a news photographer in civilian life and was able to skip all the training for photography. I was at the Boise zoo testing the first zoom lens I ever had. This foal was born ten days before. He was constantly being groomed by his Mother. I shot two rolls of film, and was getting familiar with the lens. This was the first picture I had shot with the lens that wasn't a test. No resolution charts, no contrast ratings, just a Mother with her new baby.
