Calm after the storm
Selfie with my first daughter. She was born early and her head could fit snuggly under my hand. My favorite first moments with her was having her sleep on my chest. After 30+ hours of labor and pretty extensive trauma when she came out, I couldn't move much for the first few weeks. This picture represents to me and reminds me how worth it the whole process was just so I can love her and hold her close to me. Better days ahead after the storm of childbirth.
