Blueprints College Access Initiative

The Alabama Poverty Project's Blueprints College Access Initiative connects 21st century students and their families with resources and relationships so that they are college- and career-ready. The Blueprints program uses a "near-peer" mentoring model by engaging college students as mentors for high school students. During the 2012-2013 school, Blueprints will reach 440 students in 7 low-income communities across Northwest and Central Alabama.
