Building Futures, Inc. was established to significantly change the lives of Today’s youth & young adults, by inspiring and empowering them to strive for excellence and realize their full ability and potential to become successful leaders of tomorrow. We believe through the arts, education, motivation, determination, dedication & Faith, anyone can become & remain successful in society today. BFI’s programs & services are divided into three (3) sectors throughout the calendar year; After School Tutorial with a high emphasis on Math & Science, Job Training & Recreation/Life Enrichment Programs, including BFI's Free Performing Arts Summer Camp: A.C.T.I.V.E. (Arts for Children through Improvisation, Vocalization & Education). Ms. Green, founder of Building Futures, Inc. (BFI), is a proven visionary, strategic leader and passionate philanthropist dedicated to empowering today’s at-risk youth. With her tenacity, profound dedication and genuine compassion she founded Building Futures Incorporated in 2010 with her last unemployment check after being laid off for nearly two years. Ms. Green currently resides in Southern California where she is pursuing her Master’s degree in Non-Profit Management and Leadership. She is classically trained in ballet, modern and jazz and also has an avid love of hip-hop dance and takes class regularly at Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio in North Hollywood, CA.
