The vision of Living Advantage, Inc. is to support all foster youth transitioning into adulthood. The mission of Living Advantage, Inc. is to utilize innovative technology to reduce the disconnect of services experienced by our Los Angeles County foster youth. Living Advantage, Inc. offers continuous support services for foster youth to easily and securely access their personal iden- tification information and to improve their education, career, health and independent living skills necessary for successful transition into independent adulthood. Living Advantage VALE Program (Virtual Assisted Living & Education Technology Program) Living Advantage has developed the first Virtual Assisted Living and Education (VALE) program based upon a safe, secure web application that allows foster youth to store electronic copies of vital life records, (such as birth certificates, immunization records, social security num- bers, state identification cards, school progress reports, etc.) in a virtual lockbox. These documents are the most needed, yet often lost, during the many transitions experienced by foster youth.
